Mitchell Schaps is the Board President and Co-Founder of MNeurodivergent. He is also one of the main event organizers for the Twin Cities Metro Area.

I am a Board member and also an Event Organizer for MNeurodivergent. I enjoy exploring the Twin Cities by hosting events over the weekends and meeting new people along the way. In my spare time, I am either sewing or working on a jigsaw puzzle. Being a part of this organization has greatly increased my social interactions and has allowed me to be my authentic self.

Laura Adrian is the Founder of Whole Life Elevation where she has supported thousands in developing a rejuvenating connection to the natural world through online classes, wilderness immersions, and retreats. Laura was diagnosed with autism at the age of 37 and enjoys yoga, meditation, nature, board games (chess!), and pickleball. She’s committed to creating inclusive spaces and excited to share her passions with fellow neurodivergent people.

I am excited to be a volunteer organizer. I like Pokemon, FNAF and love Halloween. I like writing scripts and creating cosplay costumes. I am part of the LGBTQ+ community and the autism community. I have 2 parakeets named Screaming Banshee and Lemon Ball. I love talking and meeting new people.

Mike (he/him) is a passionate advocate for neurodivergent individuals, inspired by his own experiences navigating social challenges. Prior to the pandemic, he led a tabletop gaming group for autistic adults. A lifelong resident of the Twin Cities, mostly on the east side, he currently lives with his wife and one of his three adult children. Mike enjoys attending local science fiction and tabletop game conventions. He’s also an avid vegetable gardener and mostly a vegetarian. With a background in chemical engineering and current work in air pollution analysis, Mike brings a unique perspective to MNeurodivergent’s mission. If you see Mike around, don’t hesitate to introduce yourself. He’s a curious and friendly person who values connection. You might also find him exploring the world of social VR (virtual reality) under the name Aut_Mike.

Jamie is a new organizer for the Twin Cities community and a moderator on our Discord server. They are multiply neurodivergent and transmasc, bringing lived experience and insight to their role. With over five years of experience moderating Facebook groups and Discord servers, Jamie adds a steady presence and a thoughtful voice to our spaces.

My name is Josh Sadoff and I’ve been in the twin cities my whole life, I am currently based in St Paul, my passions are Movies, video games (especially overwatch and red dead redemption 2), the rock band King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. I often host Weekend Movie Matinees and Trivia Mafia at Pizza Luce. I am diagnosed Autistic and ADHD.

Sarah and her family moved to Minnesota from Arizona in 2024. She joined MNeurodivergent initially to help her neurodivergent daughter make some friends. After seeing what a welcoming, fun group MNeurodivergent is, Sarah decided to become active herself. She will be hosting crafting and crossword puzzle events. Sarah’s interests include gardening, solving easy crossword puzzles, reading, taking walks with her Boston terrier Rayna, and learning how to paint with watercolors.

Beekah Madia Russell, M.S. is a loud and proud neurodivergent Exhibitor on the MNeurodivergent team. They have been a coach for neurodivergent people since 2014 and are passionate about supporting the community in an affirming/trauma-informed way. Beekah works in higher education as a student affairs professional supporting students through care and has been active in the advocacy world for many years. Outside of work, they find joy in making connections with other neurodivergent people, spending time with dogs, and listening/watching all things music/movie/cartoon/tv show related.

I’m thrilled to help represent the neurodivergent community. I’ve struggled with Tourette Syndrome and OCD for most of my life. While I was tested for autism when I was very young, I didn’t know that I fit the spectrum until I was almost thirty. I enjoy nature walks, puzzles, and creative writing. I have a degree in communications and film. I love all kinds of performing arts and meeting new people.

Kitty is a passionate and dedicated member of the Twin Cities neurodivergent community. She helps moderate our Discord server and regularly joins events and meetups. At conventions, she’s often found at our tables, sharing information and engaging with people who want to learn more. Kitty brings sharp focus and deep commitment to everything she does.
